Empowering community-led coral reef restoration and prioritization in the Maldives
A CORDAP funded project that is being implemented with the following partners: Professor Peter Harrison of Southern Cross University; Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation; University of Queensland; Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS); Queensland University of Technology, Maldives Coral Institute; Maldives Marine Research Institute; Turqoise Lab, South Huvadhu atoll.


Sustainable Organic Farming
Our Organic Farming Project promotes sustainable agriculture in the Maldives, focusing on eco-friendly practices, soil health, and chemical-free produce. We empower local farmers to grow fresh, nutritious crops while preserving the environment.

Sustainable Ornamental Fish Aquaculture Project
This project will capitalize on the rich marine biodiversity of the Maldives while ensuring environmental conservation through sustainable practices. The facility will specialize in the breeding, rearing, and export of tropical ornamental fish species native to Maldivian waters, creating economic opportunities for local communities while promoting sustainable resource management.
